All the hard work is paying off big time for some of our senior athletes and we could not be prouder. Here is a round-up of recent highlights;

Madison Don, Issy Avis, Imogen Rodgers and Emma Brooks all represented PSC at the Victoria State Age Group Champs in Melbourne in December. With parents Trent and Jodie in support, we had a feeling the trip would pay dividends. And it did. The team all swam incredibly well and made finals with Imogen winning GOLD in both the 100m and 200m backstroke events.

Last Saturday, Auckland turned out a stunning day for the Bean Rock Swim. The course starts out in Mission Bay and takes athletes out to and around the back of the largest navigational marker in Waitemata Harbour - the Bean Rock Lighthouse. Again, one of our PSC athletes did us proud with Sarah Brooks coming home 1st in the 3.2k swim. Some of our PSC parents weren't too shabby either with Nicole Lockie's mum, Rossane being the 1st female home in the 1.6k swim and Stu Penman, Lou Lou and Maisey's Dad being the 3rd male home in the 3.2k swim.

We're incredibly excited to announce that Sean Gibbs and Annabelle McLaren were selected along with coaches Sam and Kurt to represent Auckland at the New Zealand Zonal Swimming Championships at the Sir Owen G Glenn National Aquatic Centre in Auckland last weekend. By all accounts they had a fantastic time and did us proud.

And finally we are all so proud and super excited to share that Imogen has been selected for a development squad for the Commonwealth games. Well done Imi, what an amazing reward for all the hard work you put into your training. We wish you the very best of luck.
