Junior Squad

This squads are for our junior competitive swimmers who compete at Level 3 and are working towards level 2; with the inclusion of Auckland Championship & National Age Group swim meets.

Coaches: Sam Gunther and Angus Waugbh

Training sessions per week:

  • 4 to 5 swim sessions per week

  • 2 dry land sessions per week

Goals:

  • Gaining Level 2 qualifying times

  • Work towards ASA qualifying times

  • Consistent commitment to training sessions - expected

  • Swimming competition attendance - expected

  • Holiday programme and camp attendance - expected

  • Build up endurance and speed

  • Applying yourself in all training by giving 100%

  • Be role models and leaders for our club and younger swimmers

  • Short fins

  • Pull Buoy

  • Kick Board

  • Small Paddles

  • Snorkel

  • Mesh Bag
